The famous wine estate Joh. Jos. Prüm was founded in 1911 in Wehlen, on the Mosel. It is one of the most unique white wine producers in Germany.
Vintage 2020 started with a mild winter, but also some good humidity. Budbreak and flowering happened early in April / June and summer continued through September. Overall, this vintage had more sunshine hours than ever. Harvest began on 17th of September and ended on 21st of October, rendering healthy grapes with moderate sugar levels and good acidity. All Prädikate from Kabinett to TBA were harvested and quantities were better than in 2019.
