The famous wine estate Joh. Jos. Prüm was founded in 1911 in Wehlen, on the Mosel. It is one of the most unique white wine producers in Germany.
In 2004 nature made up for the unusual hot previous year by bringing back a refreshingly normal harvest. Bud break, flowering and fruit set all occurred at dates close to the long-term average. Good weather early October ensured fully ripe and healthy grapes with an excellent ripeness level. very pure fruit flavors and perfectly balanced acidity. The vintage 2004 reveals very pure fruit flavors combined with a perfectly balanced acidity.
