Die Familie Neipperg besitzt 32 Hektar im Anbaugebiet Württemberg, die in drei Monopollagen aufgeteilt sind: Neippberger Schlossberg, Schwaigerner Ruthe und Klingenberger Schlossberg.

Jahrgangsbericht

The year 2016 started off with wet and cold weather, followed by a warm and dry summer with a dynamic growth of vegetation and grapes. On October 11th, they started harvest with most dry days. At the end of November, temperatures dropped down to minus 9 degrees and in the Berncasteler Doctor vineyard, Eiswein with 130 degrees Oechsle could be harvested.

Weinherstellung

Selective hand-harvesting, careful transportation and treatment, 14 days fermentation on skins. Aging in big wooden barrels.
