The 2020 wine year started with the budding of the vines 16 days earlier than the long-term average due to warm weather. During the summer months, vine development was positively influenced by constantly warm and dry weather. The main harvest took place from 21 September to 08 October under constantly good weather conditions. With excellent grape material with good ripeness, coupled with a pleasant acid structure, we were able to bring an excellent vintage into our cellars. Yields were slightly below average, qualities ranged from Prädikatswein to Auslese.
