Baden's winegrowers are very satisfied with the qualities of the 2019 vintage, but in terms of volume, some producers had to accept heavy losses. This was due to the drought and sunburn, as well as storms and hail. The grape harvest started in mid-September and was already finished on October 15th. The young wines are already tasting very typical and fruity. The alcohol levels are partly significantly below those of 2018, the acidity is moderate.
