The prestigious winery "Robert Weil", known worldwide in the Rheingau, offers for the first time Burgundy wines in a first-class, uncomplicated style. The young wine line "Robert Weil Junior" comes from the Rheinhessen growing region and presents a Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.

Vintage report

Although the 2020 growing season was not as obviously hot as some recent years, it still goes down in the record books as the warmest overall period since records began. The ability of our vines to develop at all during the extremely dry summer can be directly attributed to the water reserves accumulated during the rainy winter months. Ripening began in late July, also 14 days ahead of the long-term historical average. The main harvest also began very early, at the beginning of September. Given the excellent quality of the grapes, it proceeded quickly, so that the harvest was completed at the end of September.
