Winerie
From the 1 ha that Ewald Kopp started with in 1996, the winery has grown to 32 hectares of selected vineyards in the best locations in the Ortenau region. Johannes Kopp took over the winery at the age of 22.
Vintage report
The 2023 harvest started on September 4th. Due to the very hot temperatures, all Pinot Noir grapes were harvested between September 11th and 15th. A little more time for perfect ripening needed our Chardonnay, which came in at the 20th. Like every year, the harvest ended with beautiful Riesling grapes from our monopoly vineyard Feigenwäldchen at the 26th.
