Vintage report

The main Riesling harvest began around 19 September, reaching must weights of between 70 and 95 degrees. The steep slopes in particular had to be heavily selected, which in some cases led to losses of 50 to 75%. But this year, after one of the earliest and fastest harvests ever, almost all the grapes had already been harvested at the beginning of October. This was possible and necessary due to the advanced ripening of the grapes and heavy rainfall in the last decade of September.
