The young, dynamic family owned estate has it´s roots in the wineregion Palatine. On 20 hektar, they are cultivating mostly Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris
Harvest turned out far better than expected, owing to much-needed-rainfall in September which led to a general relief among us winemakers. Heat and drought had marked the growing season and there was almost no disease pressure such as oidium and peronospera. Picking began at the end of August and was finished about four weeks later. The harvest delivered sane and well shaped grapes that offered a good content of sugar and of acidity. Thanks to the rain in September the wines don’t show a much higher but normal alcohol content.
