Liebfrauenstift

The famous single vineyard site Liebfrauenstift-Kirchenstück is located in the centre of Worms and forms the heartpiece of this estate. In 1872, Peter Joseph Valckenberg exported the Liebfraumilch wineline as the first one and made history.

The current owner, Wilhelm Steifensand, a descendant of Peter Joseph Valckenberg, owns now 90% of Liebfrauenstift-Kirchenstück, from which all of the estate wines are grown.
