The Neipperg family owns 32 hectars located in the wineregion Württemberg, which are divided in three monopole sites: Neippberger Schlossberg, Schwaigerner Ruthe and Klingenberger Schlossberg.
Weather extremes like frost in April caused a smaller amount of healthy grapes. These weather caprioles resulted in an early harvest, that needed to be done in a short time period of three weeks. Also, the late ripening varieties were picked rapidly after the early ones. The quality levels are good with high must weights. A vintage with balanced, fruity and a traditional bouquet.
Sourced from vineyards neighbouring their top sites, a typical Lemberger that reflects the unique terroir of the region. Keuper soil, southern slope exposure
traditional mash fermentation in small and big barrels
