Weingut

The famous single vineyard site Liebfrauenstift-Kirchenstück is located in the centre of Worms and forms the heartpiece of this estate. In 1872, Peter Joseph Valckenberg exported the Liebfraumilch wineline as the first one and made history.

Jahrgangsbericht

After a very cold spring in Rheinhessen, May brought much more rain as normal. July and September had been very dry, with warm weather conditions of aroun 35 degrees in August. The harvest started early in September. Mostly very healthy, mature grapes with decent must weights were harvested. The "summer in September" will be remorable for a long time by the vintners in Rheinhessen
