Zell Region Black Cat
Zell Region Schwarze Katz is one of the most memorable vineyard names on the Moselle. The legend of the black cat that gave rise to a famous German wine is truly unique. In 1863, two wine merchants decided to seal their wine deal after a black cat sneaked into the cellar and jumped onto one of the barrels. The Rieslings embody a typical, lively sweetness paired with a crisp acidity on the finish, for which the Mosel region is known.
