Vintage report

It was the third year in a row that was characterized by prolonged drought. Whether a vineyard was one of the winners or losers this fall therefore depended primarily on the amount of precipitation it received. One advantage of the drought this year was that Moselle vintners had hardly any problems with diseases in the vineyards. This allowed them to harvest grapes that were in good health with moderate acidity. The musts promise very typical Moselle wines with intense aromas and a fruity character.
